Since their introduction by Microsoft in the year 2002, tablet PCs have gained massive popularity in a short span of time and are now seen as the future of all computing systems. If you wish to use the tablet for drawings and graphics with more intricate details, a screen with higher pressure sensitivity such as 1024 is recommended. There are models at lower prices with less sensitivity which work great if your main purpose of buying the tablet is taking down notes and things as such.


There are varieties of tablets which allow you to connect with other systems which serial cables and still others which can connect via portable, wireless devices. Another feature of importance that must be considered is the security of the data you save. There are now models with fingerprint scanner for high levels of security. Knowing what to expect before stepping in to the tablet PC market will surely help you decide better and faster which one is ideal for your needs.
