The Best Tablet PCs on the Market

Five names dominate the Tablet PCs marketplace. These are HP, DELL, FUJITSU, ASUS and LENOVO. The following are not arranged in any order. You choose which one is best for you. They are not as inexpensive as the desktop or Laptop. But, considering the power they put in your hand, they are definitely worth their dollar.


Lenovo ThinkPad X200


The Lenovo X200 is black and very sturdy, and is a relatively cheap tablet PC. The ThinkPad X200 features an Intel Core2 Duo CPU and 1 GB RAM. The screen is 12.1" WXGA and hard disk 80GB. This model is run by Windows Vista Business Edition. It's a business focused model that is very adaptive to both indoor meetings and outdoor work. Taking notes and recording is top class also.

HP EliteBook 2730p


The looks are great; stainless steel and solid in design. An Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and up to 4GB of RAM give it unmatched speed and power. A better hard disk, 120GB SATA II is also featured in this model. The display like most Tablets is 12.1" WXGA but has anti-glare technology. Microsoft Windows Vista Business comes incorporated.

Dell Latitude XT2


The Dell Latitude XT2 is a little higher end, but commanding and dependable. With a Core2 Duo Processor and 2GB DDR3 its speed is quite unrivaled. The display size is 12.1" with a multi-touch interface. It is available with a number of accessories like integrated fingerprint reader, dual pointer devices and up to 9-cell battery. The OS, Microsoft Windows Vista Business Edition is included with this model.

Fujitsu LifeBook T5010


A 2.26 GHz Intel Core2 Duo Processor and a 2GB RAM capacity power this machine. The display is bigger than the rest at 13.3" WXGA with active digitizers for better responsiveness. This one has a docking port and built in Bluetooth, Memory Stick and Smart Card readers. Very appropriate for business presentations and note taking.

ASUS Eee T91


Physically, the T91 is a pretty attractive, cheap tablet PC--compact little machine. It weighs less than two pounds, has got a lithium polymer battery, and is just an inch thick with an 8.9" WXGA display. The Eee T91 features a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 Processor, 1GB RAM, Intel GMA500 graphics, a 16GB SSD memory. It also has Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth all built-in. this is a robust and cheap tablet PC.
